In August of 2017, Rosa Paredes became St. Vincent’s first lay President and Chief Executive Officer. Rosa brings her extensive private and non-profit talents to this position; including experience in public accounting, commercial banking, non-profits and affordable housing. Beginning in 2011, as St. Vincent’s Chief Financial Officer Rosa had the unique opportunity to learn the history of the Daughters of Charity and to understand the mission of St. Vincent’s. With that perspective, Rosa then became the champion of St. Vincent’s legacy and currently manages all the day-to-day operations. Rosa also provides the organizational leadership that helps shape and guide the vision of the organization. Having grown up in Santa Barbara, Rosa has a unique understanding of the underserved population that make up this diverse community and is an advocate for the 600 residents on the campus of St. Vincent’s, the 450 homeowners at the San Vincente Mobile Home Park, and over 50 Associates under her responsibility. Rosa’s leadership provides endless opportunities for St. Vincent’s to grow and thrive while leading an extremely talented and engaged team.

When not championing for the residents of St. Vincent’s, you will often find this busy mom alongside her husband cheering for their son and daughter on and off the soccer field.
